Personal Electronic Devices

Personal electronic devises (including phones, smart watches, earbuds, headphones, and smart glasses) are not allowed during class.  If a teacher sees or hears a device, they will take it to the main office where the student can pick it up at the end of the day.

Student Immunizations

“LCSD1 Reminder: Student immunizations are due by Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026. Students who are not compliant with Wyoming immunization requirements by this date will be excluded from school until requirements are met. Please contact your healthcare provider or your child’s school with questions.”
 

Student Parking

  • Students that drive to school must display an East High Parking Permit for the current school year.
  • Students are only allowed to park in the student parking lot (entrance and exit on Windmill Rd.)
 

Food Deliveries

To minimize disruptions to the school day, East High School will only accept food deliveries (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, etc.) during the lunch period from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Students may pick up their orders in the main office during lunch. Please note that East High School is not responsible for lost, stolen, incorrect, or late orders. Deliveries that arrive outside of the lunch period will not be accepted.

Jae Foundation

ATTENTION SENIORS:  Laramie County School District #1 will participate in Jae Boots for seniors this fall.  Through the generous donation of the Jae Foundation every senior in LCSD#1 will have the opportunity to participate in this initiative and to receive a free pair of cowboy boots.  Every senior, not over 18 years of age, will need to have a signed permission to participate.  Permission slips can be completed online or by stopping by a counselor's office to pick up and return a paper copy.  Permission slips must be received by November 6, 2026.

Discovery Day at the Wyoming Air National Guard

East will attend Discovery Day at the Wyoming Air National Guard on September 24, 2026.  This annual event is designed to inspire our youth, spark creativity, encourage
innovation, and show possibilities that await the rising generation.

Wyoming Admissions Officers College and Career Fair

On September 24, 2026, East High School will be a host site for the Wyoming Admissions Officers College and Career Fair.  Students must complete the Strive Scan Registration in order to attend the fair.  Students interested in attending the fair should see their Counselor at East for directions on how to complete this registration prior to September 24th.
 

Willamette University

On September 16, 2026, Willamette University will be here to meet with students interested in learning more about this Private University in Oregon.  Willamette gives students the trust, mentorship, and room to discover what they are capable of. They learn to take initiative, work through conflict thoughtfully, make decisions that affect others, and turn their ideas into action. Students here operate an emergency medical squad, manage a café, lead student government, conduct research, mentor their peers, manage grant funding, care for campus spaces, and respond to community needs. 21st Century Equipment Ag Tech Program

ATTENTION SENIORS:  21st Century Equipment has an Ag Tech Program, where students are reimbursed for the cost of school including their tuition, tools, housing, and meal plan, and have a guaranteed job post-graduation!  If you would like to learn more about this opportunity on October 19, 2026, please use the link below to sign up.
 

SOPHOMORES and JUNIORS- PSAT/NMSQT

SOPHOMORES and JUNIORS:  East will be offering the PSAT/NMSQT on October 20, 2026.  Students will bus to the district administration building to take the assessment.  This test is practice for sophomores.  For juniors, this is the first step in seeing if you qualify for becoming a National Merit Scholar.  Use the link below for more information.


Junior fee for testing is $14.76 and Sophomore fee for testing is $16.38
